[#808000]I thought some of you might be interested in this. I have Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 Bow mount electric on my Crestliner. When I originally purchased it I just hard mounted it without anytype of removable mount. I eventually purchased the Minn Kota Quick release mount bracket that is the "Puck" style mount. The mount itself works wonderfully and is highly reccommended.[/#808000]

[#808000]But I also purchased the optional adaptor plate that could be used alond with the "Puck" system. This adaptor is supposed to allow you to use the same holes that would have already been drilled in the boat for the hard mount. This is a great idea but I do not reccommend anyone buying this adaptor with the mounting system. I have went through two of these adaptors in three months. They do not take the stress of the torque of the electric and they continue to keep cracking. They are made out of a hardend type of plastic. I will not be buying another one. I will just mount the puck by itself on the boat and figure someway to fill in the existing holes left by the origanal mount. [#808000]Just a heads up for anyone considering purchasing this system. [/#808000][#808000]This mount will work with old and new Powerdrive and Autopilot motors,Powerdrive V2,Autopilot V2,Riptide SP and ST.
