I'll try this one more time. My messages are not showing up.

I fished a reservoir in a Canyon located East of here and caught a bunch of crappie on a black leech and a damsel. They were hanging near submerged vegetation close to the shore. I didn't measure any but they were nice sized. As big as I have caught in Utah.

Nice report. That's about how much luck i've had fishing for crappie on the fly too.

I think my new boat might have a fish curse on it. Perhaps I'll have to sacrifice some virgin lures or something.....

Great report[Tongue] , where did you catch these crappie on the fly?

Don't know why the message didn't show up the first time. I think I got it right this time.

Well, all I can say is ditto. Except mine came on a olive jig type fly. I found 'em in a depression in the mountains in a general easterly direction....[Tongue]

Get some smallies too? Man those guys are fun on a fly rod.

That thing catches all fish everywhere. I've got all kinds of trout, smb, lmb, crappie, various pan fish, pike, and even catfish on that thing. I can't take credit though for its creation. My friend back in Leadville Colorado developed that for lake fishing(mainly Spinney Reservoir I'd say). I've since used in on many rivers, lakes and ponds and it has not yet failed to catch fish. Thats Mike!
