Fished Cascade Saturday-monday--only fished in the mornings- got 4 the first 45 minutes and Sat and then it went dead. Zilch on sunday and a couple nice 17 inchers on monday. Used Double Dees flashers with wedding rings(pink or red) and also a small rapala. Tried several other baits but to no avail!! Water was 65 degrees at the top and the fishing should get better in the next week or so. Didnt fish for perch but marked a lot of them- i was fishing around Poison creek and Gold fork. Good fishing!! [

Thanks for the report on Cascade. I've been waiting for a report on it. It was about this time last year that it "woke up". Were you fishing on the surface or on downriggers/lead core? Mike

I was fishing with one downrigger going-at 17 ft and using a leaded line on another pole at 2 colors--nothing working the surface at all-the most hits came around 12-15 ft for us.

Thanks for the update. I will post a report as soon as I return. I need to take some relatives fishing next week, and that might be a good place to go. We can always fish for perch--I wonder if they are still running small? Mike
