Has any one had any success catching crappies at Glendale or Twin lakes yet?
I am thinking about hitting Glendale later today and hoping to get some positive feedback about Glendale before heading up there.

I have the same idea. Yet I have not done any crappie fishing in SE Idaho before.
What is the good bait working in Glendale or Twin lakes? live minow, power nuggets, lure?
Can someone give some inputs on this?
Thanks

I'm not an experienced crappie fishermen but will give you a few ideas.
A friend and I caught a few at Twin Lakes earlier this month while fishing for bluegill. None of them were very large though. I haven't fished Glendale this year but I know a few people have caught some there this spring/summer. Unless you get lucky and find an area with a larger school of crappie I wouldn't expect to catch many crappie. If you are looking for some crappie to eat neither place will likely produce enough for a meal. If you do go to either place for crappie I would recommend you bring back up tackle for trout, LMB, perch or bluegill.
Crappie nibbles should work. I've caught bluegill, perch and trout on crappie nibbles as well. If I had to choose one thing for crappie I would go with a small tube jig tipped with a worm or 1"-2" piece of night crawler. Live minnows are illegal bait in Idaho so I wouldn't recommend them.
Good luck.
