Anybody had much success at Whitney? I heard it's stocked with some trout, but haven't actually ever fished...
ANY TIPS?

If you've never been there, it is worth the trip! I have not heard about recent reports, but there is some fun exploring to do there. Beaver Lake, just above Whitney grows nice rainbows and the West Fork of the Bear (outflow from Whitney) has some good fly fishing for smaller fish.

I have not fished it in a couple of years but have always done pretty good up there. I have only fished Beaver just above it once or twice but I have family that float Tube that all the time and love it.

I just received word from Adam Pulley, operator of Bear River Service, that fishing at Whitney has been "extremely slow"
