I know, I'm, from Ut., I can only try, right? My only credentials are - I've paid my dues by now, and maybe -------------- ?
Here's the deal - My first love is river smallies.[
] For lots of years I've made the trip on the Snake below Swan Falls at the end of the road and then walking a couple of miles with my fishing buddy (my goldens). It has been wonerful and I go every year, sometime a couple. I've been thru 3 dogs now and my current one is a very hyper Golden (Sparky) that is actually too much for me but we both are best of Buds.
I digress - What I'm trying to do is find an area for us that isn't so far and hard on me. I'm an old fart now and I don't know how much longer I can do it. [
] If I can talk someone in "giving it up" for an area that will still give me the pleasures I've experienced over the years and keep my best Bud (Sparky) happy, we'd be much in dept to ya. I live in Ogden Ut. so's ya know where I'm traveling from. I suggest that you use the pm method so the lurkers don't get a freebe. I know the Snake is full of smallies and there are probably lots of areas, like somewhere below American Falls R., that are just as good, if not better. My problem is I ain't got the gumption to scout these areas out now.[unsure] So ------------------, can I get some suggestions from you smallie guys? I wade or use my tube (no boat). Much thanks in advance.
