Will be in Brigham City this weekend and taking my tube, would like to hit Mantua Reservoir one morning can anyone tell me where the best place to go is only fished here once in the winter and I know where the inlet is and thats it. So any info on where to go and what kind of jigs(colors sizes) to use for bluegills would be very beneficial.

Welcome to the board jign,
Here is my advice for the bluegill at Mantua. If you are standing on the boat ramp facing the water, I like to go to your right. I believe that is the south side of the lake. There are many spots that have open areas in the weeds and those are the locations that you want to be in. The weeds can be terrible so find some open spots among the weeds. Being in a tube may be beneficial on Mantua. I usually just put worms on the kids poles and let them drop the bait off the side of the boat. The last time I was at Mantua I picked up quite a few bass on all white curly tail and jig head. I bet that tipping a jig with a worm will be good. Just experiment and once you find something that works for you you will have more fish than you can handle.
I hope this helps you a bit.

I fished there tonight from about 6:30 till 9:00. Good success using white curly tail jigs with white glo jig heads tipped with perch. Last week I used the same setup but tipped with shrimp instead. Last week was a bit more active but there was a lot of power boaters there tonight. go straight out from the boat ramp and find a spot where the water quickly drops off to 18 feet, I stayed there pretty much the whole time and did pretty well. If you dont have sonar, just try to look for where the vegetation drops off and fish the edges or any holes you can find. Good luck, hope this helps a little
