Three things you will need to take with you to the sporting goods store:

Waders, booties and your credit card.

If you booties already fit over your waders with comfort then leave them at home if you would like.

Make sure that the fins fit comfortably over the booties or you will be looking at cramped feet.

Force Fins are nice but pricey.
Avengers are nice and not so pricey. They will fit over a large or XL bootie.

Do you have any of the Sportsmans up there?? I'm pretty sure they have fins otherwise it will be Cabelas or BPS.

You are better to purchase them where you can "Try before you Buy".

There are many brands out there, many styles and many prices. Just pick the ones with the most comfort that fit your budget.[cool]

My vote is for the Mares avanti x3 Dive fins.

[cool][#0000ff]You know what I use. There are quite a few dive shops that sell them...but they are very PROUD of them. Once you decide upon what you want, there are lots of discount dive shops online that will save you a lot of money.[/#0000ff]

Yeah I went into deseret dive today. All they want to sell you is the new split fin. They swear it delivers more power with less effort than any fin on the market. But 130 bucks was more than I could afford .......Glad I went to cabelas first.

as i get one step closer to buying my tube, today i stopped at the evil store (sportsmans) and bought some cheap outcast fins i think they will work for awhile till i can afford to get some better. also picked me up a net. hoping to have the new tube in a week or so.[Wink]

[cool][#0000ff]I have a pretty full supply of PVC goodies so let me know when you will be ready for a "pimpin' session". If you are going to install a sonar you will need to bring the whole shebang so it can be fitted. The good news is that with only minor mods it can be taken off and set up for ice fishing...unless you fall in love with the H3 and want it out on the ice with ya.[/#0000ff]
