Hit deer creek from 10-2 today. Fishing was great as always. Recently started using the tackle i have had for years.. Fished tube jigs wacky in purple 4 inch. I bite the head off to let it sink better. Caught 4 smallies in the 15 inch range. and the usual 15... 5 to 10 inchers. If the wind wouldn't have kicked up which is usually does at one, would have done better. oh well, its time to get up to jordanelle and get into some monsters. until i get my triton in 10 years i'll be relegated to float tubin..
