After spending two months in Texas I couldn't wait to get back to Idaho to do some fly fishing. My brother and I waded the upper south fork on Thursday and boated Daniels on Friday. With the hot weather I wasn't expecting much, but to my surprise the fishing was actually quite good at both locations. Medium sized Cutts were rising regularly to golden stone and yellow sally imitations and we caught a few larger fish on nymph and streamer patterns fished along the undercut banks. Nice fish were responding well to damsel nymphs and streamer patterns at Daniels. I've attatched a few pictures of my brother and I with fish at both locations. Hope everyone is getting out and catching fish or just enjoying being out. Tight lines.

Where on the South Fork did you fish? I'm headed there in August and have never fished it. What did you use? Streamers?

We fished the section of the river near fall creek. We used a variety of flies but the most effective were stimulators/adult golden stones, rubber leg nymphs, and weighted black/brown/olive buggers. Send me a PM if you want directions to the same spot we fished.
