[size 3][black][#808000][font "Tempus Sans ITC"]Well I knew better than even try to hit the Uintas on this weekend, but sitting around the house was getting to me. So my family and I loaded up the toon (yes I have one) and decided to go and hit Stateline, Marsh, and Bridger Lakes. Long story short, there were so many people at all these lakes it was like sardines in a can at the campgrounds and bumper to bumper tubing on the lakes. So we just decided to go on a scenic day drive and we ended up over on the Henry's Fork. Strangly enough nobody was fishing the creek so I had my wife drop me off at the campground and I walked the 3 miles or so down the creek and she picked me up where the road crosses the creek. I caught tons of little pan fry size Native Cutts and Brookies. Most everything was caught using a #2 Panther Martin in pure gold, but I did catch a few using a plastic worm on a Carolina Rig. Unfortunately I left the camera in the truck so I didn't get any picks, but none were worthy of pics, and they are all still swiming around to hopefully be picture worthy someday. All in all it was a good day in the mountains even with the crowds. The air temp was in the Mid 70's and it even rained on me for a little while which was really nice.[/font]

Looks like a great time to me! Too bad about the crowds though. Can't blame them from trying to beat the heat.
