Should have know better. [unimpressed] Sunday is not a day to fish unless you have no choice. Had cabin fevor. People all over the place, even in the N. Fork area E. of the old hwy where I can normally get away from folks. Got there about 9 and fished until about 2:30. A few water skiers got a little close, gave them the finger but not too bad. [Smile] Was trying some different things - didn't work. Went back to the old stuff. Caught 1 - 15, 3 -14s and about 4 smaller(smallies) 1 crappie and 1 mud cat. Guess I can't complain. A little slow but that's ok. Better than going to church. [sly][sly][sly] Haven't been in maybe 20 years. Yep. going to hell. As long as I can meet up with my dogs and wife, I'm ok. [Wink]

I forgot - Had a weird Tiger Musky thing happen at the end of the float. A 20-25" Tiger came up with his head out of the water like a water skier and cruise arond, submerge and come up again about 4-5 times. Finally he came up next to me in my tube and I whacked him on the head and he went under again. He came up again and did the same thing and that was it. Do you think he was injured or what????

Leaky
Good catchin for the middle of the day.

When ayone can figure out why they do that i would love to know. I have witnessed this numerous times at pineview and can't figure out what they do it for. Nice report Leaky.[cool]

Nice report Leaky. As usual. If you get to Hell before I do, be sure to save me one of those fireproof Float Tubes. I hear they are selling like hot cakes down there.

I think that the Musky was either anxious to get on a hook, (wife nagging him all the time) or he was able to smell the Sparkinator and wanted to meet him up close and personal. lol.[cool]

[cool][#0000ff]Hey ol' buddy, if we are going to hell for fishing on Sunday, it will be good to see you again on the other side. I have been known to attend services at the Church of the Seventh Day Angler on many occasions. I personally feel that enjoying the wonders of nature on a nice morning is a religious experience and that you do not need to be in a church to feel divine.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Now, since this is a forum where we do not allow controversy...politics, race, religion or sexist remarks...you better watch out or you will get banned. Ha! Me too.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Good report. Glad you were able to find a few fish among the power squadron idiots. Willard being unavailable to them has really loaded Pineview up this year. But, you should know better than to try to use their lake for something silly like fishing.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]That strange behavior with the muskies is fairly common during the warmer months. Not sure if they are trying to get more oxygen or what. Most folks who have witnessed it seem to think the fish are distressed. At least they will not hit lures when they are doing that.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]You keep on fishing and posting. We enjoy your reports.[/#0000ff]

I certainly don't want to be band, but all joking, kidding, and what you do or do not believe, aside. Hell is a real place and some will be going there and the discription of what it is like is no place I would believe anyone would like to end up. The best part is there is a choice, ya just need to make the right one.

I would love to see a Tiger cruising around with it's mouth open[cool], I'd like to see if I could land my lure right in there[Wink]

[cool][#0000ff]Better to be banned from BFT for a brief "timeout" than to be BANNED for eternity. Right?[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I was not trying to be sacreligious or to make light of anybody's religious beliefs. Just assuring Leaky that there are others on the board who do not take ourselves too seriously.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Ultimately we all must enjoy our own rewards or suffer the consequences of our own actions. It is okay to express your own personal beliefs...on any subject...as long as you do not attack others for their beliefs or hammer them because they do not believe as you do. I have found that living by example is a much better persuader than anything I could say or do to convince someone else of the error of their thinking.[/#0000ff]

Thanks for your point and example[cool] I appreciate the lattitude to express the other side of thoughts and expressions.

Just as some take a different stand on fly fishing or bait fishing and there is a bundle of information out there on both practices. Maybe sometimes people might not understand the truth about either method, however there is someone on this forum that probably knows the right answer, and thats why we come hear is to learn a better way or even the right way to improve our way of fishing.

Just as I care about a question or method of fishing that someone may be having trouble with or know a better way, when things are hinted at that might need to be brought into a clearer perspective and because I care, I probably will say something. Just as I want to meet each one of you that frequent the forum here in this life, I really want to spend eternity with you in Heaven.

Thanks for listening. Not to drag this out anymore and have this become to uncomfortable for anyone, if anyone would like to discuss this more or have any questions, please PM me.

What do you guys think of this? I think it's a b=very interesting take on it.

ON the tiger thing all the reading on them that i have done..
what i get from it is when thay are up puffing water and swimming with there head out of the water like that .They are trying to clean there gills out.. When they eat fish like crappie or pearch thay hit them so hard and fast that the scales fron the bait fish get stuck in there gills and it seems bother some to the tiger so i think thats what there doing is puffing water throw there gills trying to clean them out..

LEAKY

Not a bad hypothesis Leaky. Sound good to me.[Smile]

We don't have any Musky in So Cal but I do see fish coming up to the top all the time. They are usually spitting out trash and debris from the bottom of the lake.[shocked]
