I see the desert is flooded again today, "scottsdale arizona"
I often wonder what happens to the fish during floods, do they go down deap and dig in or do they just get washed down stream?

I think the majority manage to dig in. However, I've seen rotting carps and pikes and other shallower type fish out in the middle of fields after big floods. Same as peoples houses I guess. Some get luckey and have to clean up some flood damage, others have to drive six miles to find thier garage roof....

I have always wondered because I have seen people fishing rivers not to long after a flood.
I guess there is no place realy safe from floods or damages from super heavy rains... I am at an altitude of 1000 feet and I have seen my yard under a foot of water, "after recent development in my sub I see it during every rain...."[

There was a huge flood in central texas in about 1993. The white bass happend to be running at the same time and I was catching them in the parking lot. I wonder to what the rest of the fish do during a big flood though....[crazy]
