Minnesota Department of Natural Resources conservation officers have been involved in emergency operations at the scene of the Interstate 35-W bridge collapse in Minneapolis. Conservation officers responded immediately Wednesday evening following the collapse. At least three DNR watercraft were used in search, rescue and recovery efforts throughout the evening. On Thursday, 14 conservation officers worked alongside other law enforcement and rescue personnel in search, recovery, and security capacities. The conservation officers brought six watercraft, including jet-boats and air-boats, for use in the debris-laden Mississippi River.
