To keep away from the jetskies and waterskeirs we headed for Hayward. No top bite for the morning but I got a smallie at about 8:30 to start the day. Water temp was 82 degrees. Found the fish in 10ft of water to the entrance of bays. Ended up with 6 fish, but none over 14". Carilina rig lizard and sencos in watermelon got the fish today. We both were looking at a weed bed when a bass jumped out of the water about 2' to catch a dragonfly. He missed but we caught him on a senco. [cool]
