I don't know alot about Echo, or cats, for that matter. I have also been thinking about Kitties in Echo. There is a tourney coming up soon and it could be fun for my son and I.
I have a boat so I'll look for the river channel near where the inlet is first, then sandy sloping beaches dropping into deep water. At night I'll fish the short beaches. The highway side seems most likely for this. I would shy away from rocky points and the dam, unless there is a sandy area nearby. I do know there is only one place to launch and get any services on the lake.
For bait I'll bring an assortment of offerings, worms, carp, minnows, manufactured bait, shrimp and scents and dip. I will rig pretty much everything with a sliding sinker and ... I can't tell you the rest.
