Spent the morning off the mouth of the Provo River catching white bass. Did well on hefty 10-12 inchers.
Tried several different lures but did best with a smallish rapala and a safety-pin spinner jig. A couple of the best ones came on the jig dangling straight down while I was casting with another rod.
They seemed to be in a pretty tight school -- I had to keep moving around but was able to keep contact for a good stretch.
A little rain during the first hour but nice under the clouds all morning.
