I am headed to the Gorge in the morning and was wondering if any body had any info on the construction outside of Ft.Bridger. Two weeks ago I thought it was terrible. Has it changed much?

I was up there a about 3 weeks ago and the road was horrible for approx 4 miles. I can't believe they had you travel through some really soft stuff? It had rained just before we got there and talk about mud. I was just like going up a deer camp road after a hard rain storm. I was pulling a trailer and it was sliding around back there. I sure hope they get it better before Labor Day or it will be a parking lot up there.[unsure]
P.S. It took two car washes to get that wierd green colored clay off truck and trailer. I swear they could make glue out of that stuff.

So if I go through Green River how much longer will that take?

well you got 50 some mile's to greeen river from mtn view and another 45 from gr to lucerne I would say a couple hr eny way the road through mtn view is faster but it is tore up thay should be laying black top with in the next 2 week's then it will be done for 1yr then thay will start on the next stretch .ash

Under normal circumstances, it's about a 1/2 hour quicker to go through Mountain View. With the current status of the construction you'll be quicker to go through Green River. The other day, I sat in one spot for at least 20 minutes, and then add driving slow for 5 miles on essentially two-tracks! What a mess.
