[]A carp that big could have pulled me up so that I was skiing on my fins! I'm glad that there is a new convert. I was just reading on the other (Utah) board the woes of owning a boat. Had I a little more gumption, I was tempted to post a reply extolling the virtues of floatation fishing. No drain plugs to worry about, launching doesn't have to be a major deal, bilge pumps are easily relieved at the local outhouse or high weeds. No trailers to wire, or major garage space problems. Not too mention a bunch cheaper! Let's not forget the physiological benefits mentioned in a previous post. The psychological benefits are equally rewarding. One could easily mount rod racks, fishfinders, and trolling motors. So much stuff that it can be difficult to find a place to sit!
Unfortuneatly, I didn't get to use mine this past weekend. []
