Started at 6 at the Ct River looking for blues or bass. Nothing at the breakwater and alot of bait in the river but nothing to eat them. [unsure] Took a ride into North Cove for some snapper action and grabbed 12 in a short while. They'er about 8-9" now. Headed home to pick up the wife and friends and spent the afternoon on the Branford River crabbing. Ended up with 15 by 4:30, so we headed home. More larger ones than shorts now, so they have returned once again.[Smile]

Seems like we both have had good days on the water, just not many fish. Going for stripers Friday and Lgmouth on sat. MAYBE I CAN GET ONE WORTH A PICTURE. But I'm not holding my breath. Just a few weeks tilol VT. Can it be worse up there????

I tried to get out today, It was sunny this morning, I sat around for hours and finaly it started to get over cast so I headed out, but as luck would have it, as soon as I got there, it started raining, so I sat there at the launch for an hour waiting for it to let up, nope, so I went back home and as soon as I got the boat parked in the drive the rain quit...[crazy]

Sounds like you had Murphy in the boat with ya.[Wink] I was lucky these past two days as my partner for the day gave me the two stripers and I got 7 bass for today. C&R on the Lgmouth, fillets for the stripers. [cool]

yep, something was keepin me off the water yesterday and today. Iffin I ever meet up with murphy I am going to give him a swift kick in the pants.

I decided to go out mushroom hunting yesterday (fryday) after the rain. Wouldnt ya know I found a mushroom, a little late tho' it started to turn, but a nice one for sure, it was the size of a basket ball.
