Hello all,
I've been locked away almost all summer remodeling my neighbor's basement, but I have escaped and am headed to Jordanelle tomorrow with me pops. So, what is going on up there? Looking for some general patterns. Are weighless senkos still working? Would dropshotting a gulp smelt be better? Or should se throw cranks? Or do we bag all that and troll the channel for trout? Let me know what to do.
Bassrods and Tubedude, feel free to chime in, I have missed your sage advice.

Sorry I am not the "sagacious" 'rods or TD, but maybe I can help a little. Up through last weekend, dropshotting has continued to produce good to smoking hot results, depending on the day. You do best using sonar to find the schools. We were getting them in about 8-10 ft. of water. Vertical jigging and cast and retrieval of jigs was also effective. As the bass are a bit deeper, senkos have been less effective, but each day is different, so I wouldn't leave them at home. Some good perch were also to be had, often mixed with the smaller bass. I had modest results on cranks lately, but not as much as the finesse baits. I can't help you much on trout up there. I only go for them at the X during the ice fishing season.
Good luck.
