Well after 30 min. of typing and working on the trip to Powell all was gone when I tried to post it...
This has happen before I'm not going to re-write it it was a great trip with lots of fish... Out of time hit refresh hit back still gone?????

What I do especially the long stuff, is write an e-mail putting the info. in the text part as usual and then save it as a "draft". I can then go back and edit it as I feel a need, copy the text and paste it anytime or any where I choose, i.e. the forum, e-mails to friends,etc.. If its lost, I still have it in the "draft" and I can past it again.

maybe try this.
Click on the in windows, Start button, then select "Run...", now type in the following in the box provided "notepad" (without the quotes, so it will look like this -> notepad ) Then Hit enter. This will bring up a program called "Notepad" In here you can type what you want, and save it as you go, also, you can this way have stored on your computer all your previous posts (if you ever want to go back and read them). Once you are done typing in the post, you can copy and paste the text into the box in BFT.
Here is how to copy and paste:
With your notepad window open in front of you do the following:
1. Hold down your Ctrl button and press "a" while you still have Ctrl held down (This is otherwise known as Ctrl+A, it will select all your text)
2. Now Press Ctrl+C (hold down the Ctrl Button while you press the letter C, this will "Copy" your text)
3. Now open up BFT Post page where you post your catch
4. Now Press Ctrl+V (again, hold down the Ctrl Button while you press the letter "v". This is a "Paste") You should see all you typed in notepad transfer over instantly into the BFT Post side.
Might sound complicated, but try it once.. it's really easy.
Just 3 steps..
1. Open Notepad and type your report.
2. COPY and Paste your report into BFT
3. Submit report normally
Hope this helps somewhat.. There is always the alternative.. Tone back your fishing skills and catch a lot less fish next time you go out.. Then, you won't have so much to type about.
BUT, I would really like to read your report on Lake Powell, so if you have some time. Maybe give it another try..
OH, Another alternative that I did earlier today, that might be even easier..
When you are all done entering in your post.. BEFORE you click off the page COPY all your report (just click on the text you typed up, and type CTRL+A, then CTRL+C ) This way you have it copied then if you click submit and it goes away, you can just go back to the submit a report board.. and click "Paste" or type CTRL+V and BOOM.. your report should be right there in front of you.. ready for submitting!

Just a thought....but can't you type up your postin Microsoft word and then click and paste it to your post? if so it would make sense to do so if for some reason it deletes your post you don't need to start over. just my 2 cents
