Not on the lake yet but definitely in the guides. Couldn't sleep so I decided to try the berry again looking for kokes. Didn't put much thought into it and ended up on the water by 5:15 am. Twenty minutes later my pole wouldn't cast or reel in smooth. Turned on the head lamp only to find the top three guides frozen solid. The fog kept the poles frozen all morning until the sun came out for awhile. A little colder then last week.

Never found the kokes or rainbows today but the cutts wanted to play again.

I've noticed it a lot colder up there in the mornings myself. Any fog?
Nice fish report. I think the fish will soon start to move out of the waters they've been in all summer, if they haven't already. The fishing was already a lot slower than usual last Saturday in the same area that we have fished all summer.

The fog all but disappeared as soon as the sun came up. I used a planet and a bright star to keep from kicking off course in the dark. The fog would come in thick enough I could barely see the end of my pole.
