Edgefield, South Carolina -- When the best of companies steps forward and takes a strong stand to help wildlife and conservation in general, this great country and every person in it wins another battle for our environment," emphasized Rocky Evans, President of Quail Unlimited. "And that is just what I'm so very proud to announce today. Land Pride, manufacturer of agricultural and habitat tractor implements, has joined the premier team of Quail Unlimited national corporate sponsors as an official product of QU," stated Evans. Installing, repairing and maintaining habitat for wildlife cannot be accomplished without discs, cutters, tillers, spreaders and accessories for our landowners. Land Pride's focus on smaller implements for private landowners is the niche of strong leadership that our members and partners gratefully acknowledge and will support." QU, through its dedicated chapter members coast to coast, is leading the charge to restore the natural habitat of wild quail and upland wildlife, working with private landowners as well as state and federal agencies across the country with unprecedented partnerships. By putting on local events and fund-raisers, QU chapters raise conservation dollars that are then used for on-the-ground projects in their area.

"Land Pride is also a major sponsor and contributor to the QU-Kubota Habitat Improvement Teams (HIT), dedicated to showing all landowners not only what equipment they may need, from five acres to hundreds of acres, but actually completing the initial phases of habitat management work," Evans said. The HIT teams are being formed with support and equipment from Kubota Tractor Corporation, ECHO Power Tools and now Land Pride tractor implements. Working with state and federal agencies, landowners will not only benefit from exclusive management plans for their lands, receive recommendations and training on the right equipment, but will be educated on cost share programs and their effective use through the QU chapters and sponsor dealers. "This is an incredible year for conservation thanks to Land Pride and our corporate sponsors who are making a huge difference for every landowner in the country, through and with their dealers. We all owe them a vote of thanks for getting involved like never before," concluded Rocky.

"Since 1976 we have understood and met the needs of agriculture," stated Linda Salem, President of the Land Pride Division. "The natural extension of that knowledge is now working with Quail Unlimited to expand the opportunities and training for all landowners for the betterment of our environment and the preservation of our wildlife with critical management of habitat. Land Pride's focused and unique selection of high quality tractor implements, a dedicated dealer base and a working relationship with Kubota tractor naturally fits with the leader in upland habitat, Quail Unlimited," Salem added. "We won't stop there. Our dedicated research and development will continue to incorporate new technology and design that only Land Pride can deliver," Linda concluded.

Quail Unlimited (QU) is a 501©(3) organization dedicated to the restoration of habitat for wild quail and upland wildlife. Its almost 300 chapters nationwide raise local project dollars for on-the-ground projects, including private and public land management, with banquets, auctions, sporting clay events and more. QU has a highly trained staff of biologists, state and regional directors and dedicated members that work with private landowners and state and federal agencies to restore quail populations. In 2006, Quail Unlimited chapters and partners invested over $4.4 million dollars in quail habitat improvements.
