Was thinking of hitting it for Kokes and some trout this weekend. Anybody how the access is for launching a boat and road conditions up there and if I am just wasting my time?

Last I was up there (3 or 4 weeks ago), the water was down very low. Not sure if you can launch there or not. Road conditions should be pretty good I'm thinking.
The thing is, you never know with The Pig. It's a very tempermental place to wet a line. Kinda like a woman, but I won't mention that to my wife lol

Fished the Pig yesterday. It is very low! Had to dig and push a guy out of the mud (no fun) while he pulled a little too close to launch his canoe. Very Lucky we got him out. As for fishing. It was slow unless you like 6"ers. They seemed to be everywhere. Also the season is done on the Kokes. Once they turn red up there they don't let you keep them. Right now anything but the itty bitties are all red and in the stream.
