made my way up to E-lake today. what a nice day to be out on the water. we just trolled all day today.. and hit fish all day on flatfish and spoons. [sly] no realy big fish today just the advrage 14 to 18 " cutt's.. the minnows have moved off the shoure and are in deep water now. so are the fish.. it was cold when i got up there this morning around 37* at 10:30 but was a hot 64* when we got off the lake at 3:00.. there was some ice in the shalows on the north side.. not much snow but a ton of mud..

i did not go past huntington today. but there is not much snow anywhere up there. what snow there is, was melting fast. mud will be the only thing ya need to worry about up there anytime soon.. get there early in the morning and it will be frozen so should not be a bad walk at all.. now going back up after the thaw out might be a bummer tho.. [sly]
