All right. You asked for it. Here are a few pictures from the past year or so. Eat your hearts out.
Now, let's see your pictures. I showed you mine. You show me yours.
6.5# Largemouth from Gunlock Reservoir in Southern Utah
19 Inch brightly colored smallmouth from Jordanelle. Coming from shallow water makes the colors more vivid.
20 inch smallmouth from Lake Powell. Very large for a male.
22.5 in smallie from Jordanelle. Anything over 19 inches from this lake is a trophy.
23 inch fat smallie from Jordanelle. Estimated weight over 7 lbs.
Another nice Jordanelle smallie. Weighed out at 7# 14 oz.
18.5 in. Pelican Lake Largemouth.
Large smallmouth from Utah's East Canyon Reservoir. Excessive harvest has reduced the number of larger fish.
Nice largemouth from Utah's Pelican Lake. Note the headnet to keep hair out of eyes...and bugs out of mouth, ears, eyes and everything else.
Nice smallmouth taken from Jordanelle on Jan. 15th, 2007. Air temp was minus 8. Who says smallies don't bite in the winter?
Large specimen of a male smallmouth (caught at Jordanelle).
Hefty largemouth caught on the hard deck at Utah's Pelican Lake. Who says you can't catch bass through the ice.
Lovely smallmouth taken from Utah's Strawberry Reservoir. While this lake is best known as a trout pond, it also has quite a few nice smallies.
Larger than average wiper (striper/white bass hyrid) from Utah's Willard Bay Reservoir.
Another hefty Willard Bay Wiper. These babies pull hard.
4 of the hundred or more stripers caught on one trip to Lake Powell in March.
More stripers from a night fishing expedition. The fish caught at night tended to be a bit fatter. Many stripers in Lake Powell are skinny from a low shad population and there is no limit on stripers.
Big "bull" bluegills from Pelican Lake.
Ambitious bluegill that ate a pink Senko being fished for bass.
45 inch Tiger Muskie from Pineview.
Nice walleye from Willard Bay.
Fat colorful walleyes from Powell.
Nice female brown from Jordanelle. Note the colors.
Nice male brown from Jordanelle.
Another typical nice Jordanelle brown taken while dropshotting for smallmouth.
Cutthroat from East Canyon Reservoir, while dropshotting. Cutts are not as common as the heavily planted rainbows.
Typical cutthroat from Strawberry...in the slot.
Her very first bass ever...but definitely not her last.
Her biggest fish ever. Doesn't matter that it was "ONLY" a buglemouth brown. Kids ain't proud. They just like to catch a big fish.
