Where is the best place to try and catch a tiger muskie from shore at Pineview? Is cemetery point any good? Any advice on specific locations to try would be very helpful. Also, what do you recommend that I use? Thanks in advance.

I think it's gonna be tough to catch a tiger from shore this time of year. I'm not saying it can't be done, but it will be tough.

The muskies are headed to the same place their food source is... deep water. Most of the perch and crappie will be in 30'+ feet of water by now.

If you are shore bound, I would try the narrows (the area right where you come up over the dam) and hit that shorline. It drops offf quickly in that area, and you may catch one lingering over deep water there.

Throw a deep diving crankbait in perch or baby bass. Firetiger can be good too, but during the cold water months, natural colors seem to be best. Also large jigs in similar colors bounced on the bottom can pick up fish.

Hope this helps! Good luck! [cool]

I'm not sure that this would be the best time to hunt for the Musky. The bite is usually a lot better during the early summer time. Just my opinion.

Went fishing at Pineview yesterday...not a hit trolling and casting for Tigers. One boat did catch and kill a 45"...it was the guys first musky, so he had to keep it....

PM me for shore fishing fall musky spot if you are catch and release.
