Beautifull day on the water. Got there around 1:30 and fished till 6. Did alot of exploring. Saw a dad and his 3 boys doing well on small perch and they even got a nice crappie drop shotting, while I was near them.
I had a couple of bumps but it wasn't till around 5 that I finally caught a nice 18" trout, shortly after a 15" walleye. On the way in, I landed another small waleye.
Still working on understanding my fish finder and how to find the crappie, Slow day but a fun day![cool]

If I had read this before I would have visited with you. I was camped at the Miracle Hot Springs where the stream crosses hwy 30. We sturgeon fished down by Lower Salmon Falls on the Snake.

Well each trip has been fun. I have come home with 2 fish most of the time, one usually a nice trout, 16+. Today I had a nother small walleye to go with 2 nice trout. The water temp is down to 44.4, 3 deg less than last weekend. Might be able to handle another outing if the wind cooperates.
