Does anyone know if you have to pay to get into Lindon Harbor
Looking for a little R&R in the water fishing

Thanks

[cool][#0000ff]Yes it is a pay area. $5 for a vehicle, $2 for a walk-in.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I fished it last week from my tube, and there were no fish inside the harbor at all. Only 4-5 feet deep. But, I did catch some nice cats outside in 5 feet of water...which is too far to cast from the dike.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I also got a few nice white bass around the bubbleup.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]With the water cooling down fast, that could change. If you go, try fishing around the docks with small jigs tipped with worm. Often crappies, bluegill and white bass move inside when the weather is nice and the water is cold. Even a few walleyes show up inside before iceup.[/#0000ff]

I have a yearly pass in Utah state park well that get me in free

Lindon Boat Harbor is a private enterprise and does not accept the state parks pass. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

[cool][#0000ff]Neither American Fork or Lindon harbors are a member of the State Parks group. Separate fees. They do have an annual pass for $60 though. Some guys fish it often enough that they can justify the annual permit.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]Why not go down to the Saratoga Springs Marina...just before Pelican Point. Free launching, good ramp, restrooms and a harbor that is getting more popular with the fishies.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Just keep going south on Redwood Road, past the Saratoga golf course and the horse property. Look for the sign and turn left (east). It is at the bottom of the hill in the middle of all the last home developments before you come to Pelican Point.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Hope the construction on Redwood Road is winding down. It was killer earlier in the year.[/#0000ff]

The Saratoga Springs "Pelican Point" now charges to launch. It is still free for day use and to fish from shore.
