LOL BTW if I was in the market for another vise I certainly would want to road test several models before I made a cash commitment.[/size][/green][/font]

Id say the hook and weight I used were heavier than that fish.. but at least that "funky smell" disappeared...[sly]

any one of those is nicer than the two vices I have..

one of the ones I have I could throw in to the bottom of my tackle box, mount it to the boat or picknic table or what ever makes it self available, It is what you would call a 99 cent special, I couldnt tell ya what I spent on it 25 years ago, just it wasnt much and ya know ya get what you pay for... but it works so I wont complain about it,

my next one cost a little more, it is of the 1.98 special veriety, better clamp better mount all in all sturdier construction compaired to my first one but still a cheepo in the fly tying world, I was going to give it to my nephew, but he still hasnt come around to his sences yet... Still a young buck with a lot to learn...

dont think santie clause will be bringing me a new vice, I realy dont need one, My flies tend to resemble the meterial they are made of,, "Hackel [sly] But I am happy with it, I make a dozen flies on any given year for the spring trout opener, they do catch trees real well, and you should have seen some of them trees that got away. [laugh]

I think tho I am going to attempt a couple flie here in the next week or two, I have to baby sit for the next couple weeks so I might try making a few for ice fishing season....

now I have to go get me a napkin to wipe the drule from my chin.. thanks for the pic of them snazy vices....[cool]
