Drove up to Causey today to check the ice.

1st pineview is about 75% capped the narrows about the only open water. its not very thick and saw no sighns of anyone venturing out on the ice.

Causey. id been getting 2-3 pms a day wanting to know the conditions up there. so today was the test day. Lake is 99% capped with some open water in the skull crack arm. looks to be about 2in thick. Little thin for me but i will fish it next week so if anyone wants to take a trip to causey next week for some kokes ill be going up thurs, fri and saturday.

2 inch is a little thin for that deep lake.....I'll have to try to hit causey this year.....try out the new vexilar for those kokes.

Yeah I'm pretty stoked for Causey this year Jason. Knocked them dead up there last December. I'll be up there most likely Saturday. Hope to see you there man.

Question.. I'm looking for ice reports on the lakes.. Nothern region.
Such as Rockport,East caynon.. Can you help ????
