I am geared up for Tiger Musky. I got the fireline, the flasher spoons, the fish finder, new blades on the auger, and just made a Sportsman's and Cabela's trip to get some jigging rapalas. The wait is killing me. What is the ice status there and will it be ok for this weekend or should I wait a couple weeks?

I wouldn't go on it for at least another week or so... the narrows aren't even frozen yet.

With the temps we have now the ice once capped will gain about 1/2 to 1" of ice every 24 to 28 hours...

test the ice as you go out on it if you have 4" of new ice it will hold a person or persons just fine....
