tommy again asked if we could go fishing today.. but he wanted to go sleding as well. so we packed up and headed to a spot i know that has a great sleding hill and sometime's some good fishing as well
got there around 10:30 this morning. they went to the hill i went to check the ice.. i found the ice to be 3" so out i went.. went about 50 yards off the bank and punched my first hole.. 8 feet deep.. well not what i was looking for but did not want get to far out on 3" of soft ice.. [sly].. well the fishing was great tiger trout, rainbows, and cutt's were all on tap today.. still hitting most the tigers on the 2" tube.. []. had a real big something take my pole for a spin today. took about 20 feet of line before it went snap-oh.[unsure] oh well can't get them all..[sly]

Great looking fish Ron. Haven't fished that place in a few years, but all I could ever catch out of there was small planter rainbows.

lol yeah it's a nice little lake some times.. i was headed to the lake down the road but there was not enugh snow for the boy's to sled on so had to change plans.. i'll be headed out again tomorrw somewhere on one of the 2 lakes i'm sure.. [sly]

lol no i got a job.. [unsure] but it's in St Louis so when i'm working i'm out of town.. but i think they forget about me sometimes.(and i don't call them) not to many power plants do overhulls this close to X-mass.. [sly]

i'm sure it will pick up after the first of the year.. but i hope not. last year i had all of Jan off to. that would be nice this year to[sly]
