did you ever have one of those day's? i got up my wife was happy (allways a good thing [angelic]) the truck started first crank, got going to the lake. got there and did not forget one thing i wanted to bring. got a cupple hole's punched out and started to get jiggy with it!.. first fish was a 20" tiger! i said wow ok that was worth the trip. it can only get better. and better it got!! it was like the God Posedian him self was gideing my bait to the fish or the fish to my bait.. he d on me today in a big way.. i dont know how meny fish i cought, it was alot! when it was all said and i was done with 3 bag's of minnow's, i put 14 tiger's on the ice over 18" and 9 of them were 20 +. [sly].

i went to the 4" pearl pepper jig'd today and was tipping with whole minnows 3" to 4" long... i have a pic i'll post soon.

yeah something like that.[sly] been looking off and on all year. thought today might be that day.. but not.. [unsure]. there is a nice one running around out there with a new percing and a nice pearl pepper hanging out it's mouth tho.[]. still i could not have planed a better day..

That's what I like about Ron - he'll let you know where, how, when, and what and still be a great sport about it. He doesn't have to but he does. I've never met him face-to-face but know he's a genuine, okay kinda guy. Hope to get some fish with him soon.

[#0000ff]I guess fish from any waters can taste bad or good, depending upon the care and preparation. Some chefs can make an old shoe taste great, whereas kung fu cooks can mess up even the finest seafood.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Maybe you can address another question I have about the tigers from Palies. I have seen lots of pics, including this one of the most recent state record. The colors on those fish seem to be a lot lighter and less colorful than the tigers from some other waters. Is that a matter of diet, water chemistry or ????[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I guess there is some genetics involved too. As with Huntington or other tiger habitat, some of the fish tend to exhibit more of the male tendencies...even though they are neither gender.[/#0000ff]

well most the fish in palies are very pal and not much color at all.. that one had his spowning colors on i think..
