Fished it yesterday for 5 hours and it SUCKED! Tyler caught about 7 splake and i lost 1 bow. No kokes at all and some sketchy ice. Be extremely careful where you go.[Wink]

Fished up there today. Ice is in good condition about 4.5" caught alot of small tigers and splake although one guy in our party caught a 21" brown(sorry no pictures) fished from 7:30- 12:00 it really slowed down about 10:00.

Oh yea we also got 4 kokes. They hit everything we dropped in untill 10:00 then they got picky.

Mrlipripper and I were just across from you guys. I measured the ice at 6" where we were and 4.5 by you.we also caught a lot of Splake,a couple tiger trout and a couple Rainbows. Beautiful Day!
Be careful at the edge there, stuck a foot through coming off, only 6"deep. Salmon eggs gave us the best action today with a few on Wax worms(nearly died haveing to pay $2.49 for a small pack of wax worms)

P.S. Tell your buds to get a tune up on that Power auger... looked like a lot more work than a hand auger.

What part of the lake were you guys fishing???

Straight across from the dam,10' from shore is were we caught the most. Then we moved up the center arm but the fishing was slower for us there.

We were over by where the elk carcass was last year. EEEWWW!! We followed that side down a ways away from the dam.
HFT brought his MarCum fishfinder with him...that's it, he just brought it. Charge from night before didn't hold. We had to fish the olde fashioned way - by guess and by golly.
Still lots of fun. Good on ya, James!
