Fishing Forum

Hit Newton today from about 2 till 5p.m. Caught about 20 perch, a bluegill, and one crappie. Not much size to them all. I sure would like to find some nice crappie. At dusk some snowmobilers decided to hit the lake. They gunned it across the ice and hit the bank by me. They walked out and asked me how thick the ice was. Such idiots! The lake is solid with about 6 inches of ice. There are plenty of fish in that lake. So please come out and give it a try.

Thanks for posting your report LC. I know a few BFT members that were waiting for this report. Glad to hear you caught a few, too bad there weren't a lot of crappie but I would imagine that is just a matter of locating a good school. WH2
