Has anyone else caught one of these cuts with wierd spots up at Strawberry ? This one took a brown wooley bugger in the fall. It was in the slot so someone else could catch him again. Sorry about the picture quality, the scanner did a lousy job.

Agree with the rest of the posts. It's a tiger trout, and I've never caught one at the Berry.

I thought it might be one when I landed it but it has the cutthroat red stripes, orange fins, and all ther cutt markings except the goofy looking spots.

Tiger trout "generally" have light markings on a dark background. I've seen many color and marking variations. Cutthroat have dark spots on a light background. Very interesting fish. It does look like a Tiger Cutt.
Thanks for sharing....

I don't think that could be a Tiger Trout. It has the Cutthroat red line on the jaw. That has got to be the funkiest trout I've ever seen, and I've seen some funky ones. Tiger trout are sterlile. So what would a Cutthroat be mixed with to produce such a fish?

Not sure what you got there but its interesting!
Here is another cool fish from Strawberry that someone posted quite some time ago. Sorry I don't know who it was to give them credit!

Here we go again... Some guy last year caught one and everybody started trowing out the photoshop word and it was really stupid... Not your fish... you caught a beautiful fish, way to go! But what you have is a cut with unusual markings, every once in a while someone catches one up there
and they are really cool looking, we caught one a few years ago and it was really cool. It's nothing really weird or some hybrid the CIA has been working on to infiltrate third world countrys and you didn't notice any black helicopters watching you I'm assuming... or did you?
For everyone out there, this is a cutthroat... there are just some like that up there, nothing weird or cross bred just a cutthroat.
Nice looking fish.

Cool looking fish, sure would be nice to catch one, that was large enough to have mounted. WH2

It's a tiger cutt, definitely, lol.[
] It seems fully cutt genetic wise, probably just a genetic recessive gene mutation. Like albinos for example.
