No they do not plow that road, and they always pile a large pile of snow right where the road takes off at the Strawberry Marina turnoff.

Does that road get pcked down enough that you could take a 4-wheeler over it.

Never been on it in the winter, but I know that some do take snowmobiles and 4 wheelers over it. I have heard that it gets really rough.

They groom the road that Kent was refering to, or at least they have in years past. I havent seen any 4 wheelers make it on that road but I have seen where they attempted it and tore the "heck" out of things when they break through. I personally wouldnt attempt it just from what I've seen in the past.

Looks like you need to purchase a snowmobile now coot. I just got mine all ready to go. Just need my new Otter Pro series Ice house to arrive on the front porch. was sent the 21st. Should be here any day now.[

I went over it on my wheeler late in the season last year when it was compacted down

There is quite a bit of new snow up there and i would advise against trying a wheeler on that road. You could get across the bay on one in a few days probably. There were some sleds venturing clear over that way today but i think it is questionable as of right now.

We usually go across the bay, but this year with the soft spots I was wanting to get over there sooner.
