No need to worry about wind, lots of wind, unfortunately there is going to be snow to follow and freezing temps. How much of the lake opened up?

the "wind" looks like a giant cold weather hurricane that is covering the western US on the weather map and looks like it is only going to get worse

That picture looks like one of those big "Ring of Fire" balls off of the sun!!! Are you sure the world is not ending here pretty soon?[Tongue]

I grew up in Texas and lived there for 30 years - you see something like that on the radar and you make sure you have what you need to survive in case of the unimaginable - in Utah it is just a windy night

From the dam to the north end it looked like as soon as the roads dry I will try to get my boat up for a days fishing for bass....

I was in texas on the cost when they had a hurricane come threw I was fishing with my son who lives there we was fishing when a cop came by and ask what we were doing....

My son look at the cop and said catching fish as he pulled one out all the cop did was shake his head and said the road would be closed in one hour so we left, it was a fun trip...

All I want for Christmas is no ice on the main lake of Jordanelle....[Wink][sly][crazy]

All the other lakes can have a foot of ice....[shocked][sly][Smile]

[cool][#0000ff]On the Lake Cam for Jordanelle today all you could see was snow covered ice in all directions. No open water. I am sure the ice is far from safe yet, but it won't be long.[/#0000ff]

You may be half wrong [crazy] or half right, from the dam to the small ramp is still open if it stays open till the roads dry I'll be there....With boat and rod...

[cool][#0000ff]Couldn't see that area on the Lake Cam. That part of the lake DOES often stay open longer and opens up sooner because of the south winds.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Had a tubing report from last week (insanity) that someone fished in 30 feet of water, just off the ramp, and caught lots of small perch and some troutskis. Also caught pneumonia.[/#0000ff]

About all you can see is just the edge of the open water, I just hope it holds till I can fish it this year....
