5 of us hit Stawberry yesterday and nothing. We fished a couple of areas out from the marina from about 9-3 and nothing.... not even a bite. There was quite a few people out there and no one was catching them, not even the regulars. There was one group of 5 to the north of us, I saw them catch a couple, but that was it.

I was there in the early am-1100 and saw some on the fish finder, and was in 18 feet of water and a big fat 0 iced. There were 4 guys just 25 ft closer to shore from me and they were doing great. I guess they were in 12-15 ft of water??? Oh well had fun anyway

how bad was the slush monster?[unsure] I am heading up there next weekend and I am bringing the snowmobile. I don't want to get it suck so I am trying to get a feel on how bad the slush is. I am looking at all parts of the lake. Any infor would be great. Thanks.

There was about 2-3 inches of snow, 6 of sluch and 8-9 of ice

I sure hope it hardens up by this weekend. I'm going up for 3 days and I don't want to have to leave the wheeler in the truck and walk. I need some -25* every night this week.

Yeah, I am rooting for the cold weather too. Cdragon and I will be up there sunday and monday. I would like to have the snowmobile pull my lazy butt around. I hate pulling all my crap around. Especially if I want to re-locate.

hmmm, thats too bad, last time i went to the berry was January 1st. I caught 1, my dad 0. My new years resolution is to not get skunked at all this year. I havent yet. ive been to DC 3 times and caught at least 1 every time this year. Thats too bad though. The marina sucks [

There's still fish biteing in the lake, you just need to move around till you find them. Me and my fishing partner moved 5 times on Sunday before we got inot the big group. Iced 60+ fish. Also, do not go home early, we caught 40+ of our fish between 1-4:45 pm. As soon as everyone packed up and left at noon, is when the fishing got hot.
