Does anyone have an update on the conditions at Pineview? Ice depth and snow depth on the ice.

I would like to take to 4 wheeler this weekend, but with the reports from last weekend, I will mostly likely leave it home.

Any updates would be greatly appreciated.

I was there Wednesday, and there was limited parking around the lake, with the exception of cemetary point. that lot was plowed and free parking. I waded through a 3 foot snow drift getting to the ice, but once on the ice the snow was only about 6 inches deep or so. There's a frozen slush layer, and then (i'm guessing) 8 inches or so of ice beneath that.

I didn't see much parking in the narrows area. The parking area across the street from the caretaker's house was marked "no parking" and "no trespassing". There's a lot across the lake that was plowed, but I didn't feel like climbing down that steep cliff.

All in all, I wish I'd fished somewhere else.
