Started at Rockport. Slow. Nobody catching much, I tried from 24 to 42' nothing on the finder.
Drove to Echo, parked at the bay to the West of the marina. On the bottom in 35. I caught some 8-9" perch. The guy next to me was smacking some trout, down about 10'.
Saw 2 turkeys, runnung down the road by the lake, I also saw lots of deer, some bucks and the herd of Elk below the dam.

Thanks for posting your report Troll, sounds like it took some extra effort to find some willing fish today. Those deer and elk have been hanging out below the dam for almost two weeks now, there must not be much food out there for them[unsure]. At least those animals should be OK as long as they don't get run over crossing the road.

Nice herd, some nice bulls in there. I was encouraged by the buck mulies I saw. Every one had at least 6 girlfriends hanging with them.
I'm going back to Echo today. Same area.

Fished the same area today, simular results. Fewer quality perch, more quality trout. Trout were likin cast masters with a chunk of perch, perch were likin anything small on the bottom. Trout were mostly at mid depth and agressive.
I fished a point from 25 to 35 feet, 25 feet had more perch action, 35 had more trout.

Sounds like another good day, were there many people out there?

I would say yes. There was a very big group in front of the resort and a big group to the west, we were in the middle of the groups.
