5 of us were fishing by 7:30 a.m. just north of the main boat ramp and it wasn't long before we had a few little pesky perch biting. We landed a few 3-5"ers. We decided to move and after weeding through a few 7-8"ers a big school of perch came through and we nailed 5 or so 10+"ers. In total we caught about 30 perch and 1 rainbow. 35 ft of water was the most productive.

After lunch in Heber, 2 of us decided to try the berry real quick. NOt much slush except fpr spots in the middle of strawberry bay marina. we set up in 17 ft on the west part of the bay. Had a few lookers and one bite during an hour so moved out to 50 ft of water. Had a few bites and one 18"er landed in the 20 minutes there but my buddy had to rush back to an upset wife. Oh well. I'll be back tomorrow but probably to CCE.

Beautiful day fishing and the slush monster is somewhat tamed - good day.

Wow those Pearch are some of the fattest I've seen in a while. Good Job.

How's the trip down to the lake from the parking area? Have you tried the other side by the PWC ramp yet?

Thinking about hitting Jordanelle tomarrow morning, (Sunday.) How thick is the ice by the boat ramp area? Can you take snowmobiles on it yet? Was it totally iced over? Please get me all info you can. Thank you very much. [cool]

To bad about the berry. But those porky perch sure look good! The lake level is lower then last year right? How far from shore did you have to go to find 35 ft of water?

Ice is a good six to nine inches everywhere. There is very little snow in the ice so the walk was cake. A snowmobile would probably be fine. The fishing was pretty good just 100 yards off the ramp. Good luck to all.
