A group of us from cache valley go to a fly-in-lake in NWT canada every year to fish for Lake Trout and Northern Pike. The lake is as good as it gets and very affordable (we've tried 15+ lakes and nothing compares). However, airfare from edmonton to fort smith is now at nearly $1,000 (in addition to the float plane cost and the cost to get to edmonton).

In short, we're pursuing other options as we are looking for anyone interested in flying a group of us (including yourself and a guest) to the lake, fishing, then returning in late june. We are looking at renting a plane or finding someone who happens to have access to one. We've agreed to do what it takes to hopefully get you a free trip out of it. If interested please let me know..

Thanks,

Sorry it was out of subject, but didn't know where to post this.

thats actually a great idea. you said you live up in chache valley? head over to the logan airport, walk inside the main terminal. usually airports like that have cork boards with pilots advertising their services. there are usually also advertisments about plane rentals and rates.
