OK I think at least one of us Idaho Spuds need to represent our state at the Disco[Smile] It was a slow year at the annual event; yes end of the run, but my son and I still had a blast. We only netted 57, but still plenty. If anything we had to actually work this year instead of being done in five minutes. Thanks to all the BFTers who provided the fish, scones, and hot cocoa, you guys are great. After Cisco Beach we headed to Montpelier Res. Our goal was to catch a couple of limits of trout for my parents; if you eat trout Montpelier has some of the best tasting ones. When I got there we set up and only iced two fish in two hours, poor when you consider ten poles and a vex, moved to another point and immediatly got into the fish. Did pole chasing for 45 minutes until we ended up with twelve. All planters 12-14 inches, and fished off the bottom with pink and chartreuce jigs tipped with crawler. Sunny perfect day!

[black][size 3]Nice report Laron, sounds like a great day. What time did you get to Bear lake on Saturday? My friends got there early on Saturday and caught their limits in ten minutes. Maybe they were just in a good spot[Wink]. [/size][/black]

WH2,

Yeah I was a little late (8:15,) but my pathetic net and skills had something to do with it as well. Let my son get his limit first, and this took a little while. I go to the disco for the event; it amazes me that 500+ people can get along so well, and have a great time in the process.

Yea, I know what you mean, that cisco disco is a fun event and sharing the experience with your son was the best part anyway.
