Saturday am near Echo dam was slow for us and everyone we talked with. A few trout were being iced, and even fewer perch. Most guys were just enjoying being outside on a sunny morning, although the slush made it quite sloppy. Things have really slowed down. It must be February.

I was there as well and caught zero fish. That's right - zero fish.

I left my Vexilar at home along with my coffee thermos. I could not determine the depth or see if the perch were there or not. I HATE it when that happens.

We fished it saturday as well....we loaded up and headed out on the lake, and i felt the notorious slush start to bog us down on the snowmobile so we hung closer to the shore than we liked. we managed about 10 trout with the largest about 15", with no perch... i watched several poor souls out farther getting worked over by the slush on 4 wheelers. i would definately not recommend a 4 wheeler any more. My family in morgan recieved another 14" of snow this morning and i believe more may be on the way. just a thought, but why is it that when others come to play they have to park like newly taught 16 year olds? It is almost like they perhaps they thought no one else would need to park and had the place to themselves. OK enough venting sorry. Good Luck

i fished the marina area at echo and did just fine. everyone around us was in about 20ft of water and not catching shiz. so we walked out 35yards past the tent city and found 35ft of water and we proceeded to catch perch, we landed 25 perch and 1 bow. i must have had over a hundred nibbles on ice flies tipped with perch meat.

Hell I did fine with my two kids. Showed up about 1300 at the dam and let a couple hrs later. We ended up with twenty and should of caught more.
