Does any one know how far south there is safe ice? I'm planning a trip and would like to know if I will be able to fish the Swim Beach area or not? I will be there on the 16th of Feb.

We were up there over the weekend and there is a good 6 inches of clear ice in Linwood bay. I did not go to swim but I saw people out there fishing.
