Five state wildlife areas administered by the Division of Fish and Wildlife will be open for snow goose hunting beginning Monday, Feb. 4.
The following state wildlife areas will be open on a self sign-in basis:
"¢ Cedar Swamp, northeast of Smyrna - river duck blinds and goose pits
"¢ Woodland Beach, east of Smyrna - duck blinds and goose pits (including McKay Tract but not including Taylor's Gut duck blinds)
"¢ Little Creek, east of Dover - duck blinds
"¢ Ted Harvey, near Kitts Hummock, south of Dover - duck blinds and goose pits
"¢ Roberts Tract, south of Dover - duck blinds
Hunters may sign in at the appropriate wildlife area checking station. Hunting will be allowed on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Areas will be open in season until the snow geese are no longer present in significant numbers.
