Fished today east of the Rock Pile and out from Gus Rich's point. Only had one bite all day long. Sloooooowwwwwwww......
The good news is - the mighty wind blew all the snow off the ice last night and froze all of the slush. The bad news is that it was still blowing all day today and the fishing wasn't great for me. Didn't see any fish caught today, but there were only three groups of people on the ice including me. The ice was 6 inches or more everywhere I drilled a hole, but be careful because the thickness varied a lot depending on where I was.
The guys at Ideal Beach were plowing the road down to the ice when I left. The parking lot on the beach was in good shape, but they will have a hard time keeping that road open unless the wind quits blowing. I had to walk all the way from the condos because it was knee deep when I got there.
